Product Description HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket The HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket is the only blanket on the market this customized to fit a range of sizes to ensure safety for all infants. Its design is making consumers and vendors alike rethink the idea of a baby blanket. The SleepSack is the safest, yet softest blanket on the makret. It is made of 100% flame resistant cotton. The SleepSack from HALO is sleeveless to reduce the risk of baby rebreathing into the sleeve. It reduces the risk of overheating and is easy to slip on to a sleeping child. The Sack design means that baby will never kick a blanket off or, even worse, up over his mouth and nose causing the airflow to be disrupted. An inverted zipper allows the parent to change the diaper with ease and also prevents the child from scratching his chin or even unzipping the SleepSack. HALO works hard to prevent SIDS and with the SleepSack they have made tremendous strides. With each SleepSack sale HALO donates a portion of the sale toward SIDS medical research, education and family services.

Great Sleepsack! July 24, 2010 Hannah This is a great product from Halo, my little boy loves sleeping in it and because it is cotton it keeps him the perfect temperature overnight - not too hot or too cold!
Cute and cozy July 23, 2010 Angela I used this sleepsack with my son and I have to say that it was very useful, especially in the chilly winter months when I didn't want to put a blanket on my 3 month old. The material was very soft and he always seemed very comfortable in it. My only issue is that he grew out of it pretty fast because he has always had very long legs.
Great Sleepsack July 22, 2010 rellimstap Awesome product. Our son, like me, has a tendency to get cold easily at night (even in the hot Louisiana summer). He grew out of liking to be swaddled, and this has been a great product. In particular, we really like that the zipper tab (once zipped shut) is at the foot of the sleepsack. We've had some in the past that put the zipper right near a child's neck and leads to scratching. THIS sleepsack is well-engineered, well-constructed, and works GREAT!
Runs very large July 21, 2010 sportscheller I ordered the x large as it was for 18-24 months. It looked like it was for a 5 year old. Way, way too big for a little 31 inch tall baby to wear.
SleepSacks are a Must-Have Baby Item!!!! July 15, 2010 A. Longer (New Mexico) When our son was born we used the Halo SleepSack with Swaddler and the results were amazing! Being wrapped tightly made him feel safe and secure, which allowed all of us to get better sleep. Plus, it was really easy to use -- I was never able to get the hang of swaddling him with a regular blanket, it would only hold for a few minutes and then he would wriggle out of it and become hysterical again because his arms were loose.
After our son got too old to be swaddled, we continued using the regular SleepSacks - - and we plan on doing so until they no longer make sizes big enough to fit him. They keep him consistently warm throughout the night and, more importantly, there is no risk of him being suffocated by a blanket during sleep. In the winter the microfleece sacks were wonderful, they kept him toasty warm yet were still a breathable material so that he did not overheat. Now that it's a hot summer, we are using the cotton sacks which provide just enough warmth to keep the evening chill off of him.
As first time parents, my husband and I were really overwhelmed while we were shopping for the nursery. There were so many products out there and we weren't really sure what we would really need. The Halo SleepSack with Swaddler was used from day one, and the larger sized sleepsacks have been used nightly since then. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and I now consider it as one of the top items on our Must-Have Baby Item list.
