| Customer Reviews: Awesome under overalls or as spring/fall jammies July 11, 2010 Ariel T. Adorable! This got me through late winter/spring, and my daughter still wears it under other clothes (like skirts) so I can keep her dressed and (like overalls) so she doesn't get scratchiness. There's a bit of a gap in the bottom diaper area, sort of like there should be another snap there, but under other clothes, just running around the house, or going to bed, it really doesn't matter. The best part? If she gets a stain on the tummy or something, it will always be covered up. Also, I got a size larger than she needed and it did shrink a little bit, but it's a little bit stretchy, so 6 months after getting it (13-19 months in a 24 month size, she's a big girl) it still fits.
Runs small but SO CUTE!!! June 3, 2010 Natasha Stryker (California) I love this lil suit on our tiny daughter. The print is so cute and the material breathes very well. The design is simple to get on and off for changes and I like that the snaps are in a row and not the kind that are forked at the crotch; this sleepy mom always misaligned them during night changes. My daughter pretty much outgrew this at 4 months and she is average weight and height. What is cool though is that because it is footless, she still wears it and it looks like a baby Capri pant onsie :D The fabric has nice stretch and washes well.
Cute design April 25, 2010 Mike Bona (Staten Island, NY) I bought two of these for my twin daughters. They seem to run fairly true to size, but being that my twins are a little on the small size for their age, that may throw off my judgement.
Has strange opening April 11, 2010 Danger I bought this for my daughter a few months ago. It's stretchy & soft, which is nice. But at the crotch, there is an opening of several inches that seems like it should've been sewn closed. It's the bottom of the center opening but it extends all the way to between her legs. It exposes her diaper & looks tacky but since no one but us sees it, we still use it. And it doesn't bother her. This is the only one of several of these sleepers that we own that is like this. Maybe we just got a defective one.
Cute .. but runs slightly small ... April 4, 2010 Sandy L. Lacey We purchased two of these both 0-6 months in various colors/patterns. The material is lightweight thermal so it is warm but doesn't let my baby overheat. It has no feet on it so you may want to/need to use socks. My daughter has a tenancy to run warm but hasn't overheated. The pattern is adorable. The only "con" I see is that the size runs small. This is a 0-6 month and although my daughter is well below the weight requirement it's snug on her arms (but not overly tight) and her chunky legs make the bottom closer to her knees than her ankles where it belongs. I wouldn't recommend it for a child even close to the weight limit.
Another reviewer commented on the sage one a similar issue where her 14 lbs child was snug in the 12 month one, so be aware it does run small/snug.
I am aware the guidelines for sleepwear for children want snug fitting clothes for less hazards, but this is more snug than I would like and the shorter length on the legs due to the tightness / snugness just looks silly.
Worth the money, just watch the size/weight and stay well below it.
