I bought this for my 8 month old, because at night he kept taking off his blanket and he would get cold and wake up. The first night that he used his Sleepsack, he slept through the night and woke up very happy!!
If I would've known about this product earlier, I would've bought it when he was born!!

The first time I wrapped my baby in this blanket I realized I will
never go back to wrapping my baby up in a regular blanket at night
ever again. I 100% trust these blankets.
What I love about these blankets other then the fact that it
reduces the risk of Sids, is there are so many sizes, designs
and colors to choose from (Newborn-Toddler)
We haven't had any problem with these Halo sleep sacks.
They are very durable, cozy, and very easy to bundle around
your sweet little one.
Our daughter is always warm and cozy while using these blankets,
so we are also reassured that she wont be cold through out the
night.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.. including
my own family. These make great gifts that last a long time.

 Overheating issues June 9, 2010

I like the design of this sleep sack but did have issues with overheating and heat retention when my little one wore this at bedtime. If you're unable to keep the room temperature stable and cool, I suggest you have a couple of others made of different fabrics that you can put on your child.

SIDS is a parent's worst nightmare. Halo SleepSacks are the #1 choice of hospitals. The material is soft (100% cotton) and durable. With the SleepSack, you don't have to worry about your baby kicking off the blankets and there is plenty of room in the SleepSack for leg movement. This product will keep your baby safe and warm throughout the night. Being a first time mom-to-be, I know that I will constantly check on my baby's breathing. Or, I'll probably stare at my baby sleeping the entire time. But with the SleepSack, I will feel more at ease knowing that my baby is safe and sleeping better. I definitely recommend the HALO SleepSack for a safer way to sleep!

This was my daughter's 6th sleepsack. I have always ordered Halo products for this purpose. We have never had a zipper fail, a seam come undone, or any other problem that I can think of. I ordered 2 of these, one in the cooler cotton, in addition to the micro fleece. Of course, wouldn't you know it. I order it and my daughter decides that she is done with sleepsacks. She can unzip them herself now (well, she is almost 2) so I actually returned the micro fleece sleepsack, as I hadn't opened it yet. On that note, I have to say that although I didn't like to have to pay the return shipping (I feel all of the companies make so much money off of us, that you'd think they'd throw this in), I couldn't have been happier with the speed in which Amazon received my product and put the money back into my account.
