Product Description
Hospital provided delivery gowns are simply awful - you are in a totally new environment and have no option than to wear this old oversized gown given to you. Often you are asked to wear two, one backwards to cover the gaps in the back while getting up and moving around.
The last thing you need to be doing is constantly adjusting, strings untied, shoulder falling down and retying those horrible strings or asking someone to do it for you!
You want comfort, you want to feel covered, you want to feel prepared - and maybe a little bit of control - not to mention feeling good about yourself!
When designing these Gownies, having been through numerous deliveries ourselves, we took into account everything that should be changed on a delivery gown - and here it is!
So just say "no thank you' to that tatty old gown and put on something from home, it feels great, clean and stylish - and yes! You can look stylish when giving birth.
So many hospital staff have contacted us to enquire on our Gownie line - the compliments will just come rolling in!
Congratulations - you did it! Your precious little one is finally here after all those months, you will look great for those new baby pictures, no more flashing oop's shots sent to all you family and friends!

 Fabric bled even after several washings July 29, 2010

We bought several of these nicely syled gowns. On one that is a black print on white ground with a hot pink trim, the pink trim bled and stained the printed part of the gown. Also, it is labeled as 100% cotton while the trim at the neck is synthetic. Totally disapointed! There is no reason that a fabric color should be bleeding by the time the customer purchases the product. Where is the quality control???

So I haven't used it yet, but I've washed it (it's pretty wrinkly looking) and tried it on, and I am SO very happy I will be wearing this and not those ugly, ill-fitting gowns at the hospital! Not sure why it isn't designed for easy IV use, just in case, but not a big deal for me. The snaps seem to open enough to allow nursing easily. What I want to mention is that if you are looking at this, you might want to also look for the gown you'll wear right after and I felt happy enough with what I found that I wanted to share. First of all, I will wear this very comfortable and easy to nurse in bra Majamas Organic Easy Bra - Heavenly Pink under the gownie and then afterward under this nursing gown/robe set. Motherhood Maternity: Long Sleeve V-neck Empire Waist Nursing Nightgown And Robe What I like about this is that the robe will go nicely over the pink/paisley Gownie too, which if you want to get up and walk around could be really nice, and then the gown works perfectly with the Majamas bra as well!

i bought this product with price in mind. i bought the brown gownie with white spots. $29 was a great price compared to other hospital gowns. when i recieved it it fit perfectly, nice length, not to heavy or bothersom. it had a strong smell to it and after washing it the smell hasnt gone away. also dissapointed that the white spots were painted on and not just a fabric patern.

I washed this before packing in my hospital bag and it faded really bad and looked like it had been worn many times. I am still glad I purchased it but not as much of a neccesity as I thought once I got to the hospital.
